A digital product company

We make specialized work simple.

DeepSignal designs, builds, and operates a portfolio of web applications. Each one takes a job that normally needs training or expensive software, and hands back the finished result, not the controls for making one.

The idea

Specialized software makes you learn the apparatus before it lets you near the work. Taking it out is our job.

01 — What we build

What we build

Our products cover three areas. All of them start from work that normally needs professional training or seat-licensed software, and end a few minutes later in a browser tab with something you can use.

Image & Design

Formats · Layers · Output

Editing, format conversion, and design generation, with the technical steps handled for you: resolution, layers, bleed, file format, the questions a print shop asks. You bring the picture and what you need it for.

Creative Generation

Image · Video · Models

Image and video generation, built on current AI models. Prompt writing is a real skill, and you should not have to learn it to get a usable result. Samplers, seeds, and negative prompts stay on our side of the screen.

Productivity Tools

Docs · Structure · Repeats

Document preparation, content structuring, and the repetitive work in between. Easy to describe, slow to do by hand: rename, reformat, split, merge, check the same field on every row. Describing it once should be enough.

02 — What we believe

What we believe

Four positions we hold. They decide what we build, and more often what we leave alone.

  • 01

    Expertise should not require apparatus

Knowing how to do something well and operating the machinery for it are two different skills. Most software fuses them, so the person who only wanted the first has to learn the second before they can begin. A lot of them stop there.

  • 02

    The result is the product

Nobody wants software. They want the image corrected, the document prepared, the file in the right format before Friday. A feature list describes what we built; it says nothing about why you opened the page.

  • 03

    Depth belongs underneath

Hard engineering should be invisible. Most of the work behind something simple is work you never see: defaults chosen in advance, edge cases handled before you reach them, a settings panel nobody has to open.

  • 04

    Reach is a design decision

A capability only trained people can operate is not general-purpose, whatever it can technically do. Who can reach a thing gets decided early, inside the design, often by people thinking about something else at the time. We try to be thinking about it.

03 — How we work

How we work

Three commitments that hold across the whole portfolio, not just the product you arrived through.

01
Privacy first
We collect the minimum a product needs to work. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising. There is no advertising business here to feed, which is what makes the promise easy to keep.
02
Built to stay
Every product we launch is one we intend to keep running. Maintenance, security updates, and support are not a phase that starts after launch; they are most of what running a product is, and we count that cost before we begin.
03
Available everywhere
Our products run in the browser. There is nothing to install, and nothing that works on only one operating system. If you can open a web page, you can use them.

Between someone and work they could plainly do well, there is usually an afternoon of learning software. Most people decide the afternoon is better spent on the work itself.

Why DeepSignal exists

04 — FAQ

Frequently asked questions

01
What does DeepSignal do?

DeepSignal is a digital product company. We design, build, and run a portfolio of web applications across image and design, creative generation, and productivity. All of them work in the browser, and every one is maintained by the same small team.

02
Are your products related to each other?

They share an approach, not a codebase. Beyond that they are genuinely separate products, though the same people build and maintain all of them, which is why they tend to behave the same way when something goes wrong.

03
Who are your products for?

Anyone who needs the result without the training. Often that is a professional taking a faster route through routine work; just as often it is someone who would otherwise have paid to have it done, put it off, or given up.

04
How do I reach you?

Email support@deepsignalai.org. A person reads it, one of the people who builds the products. Support questions, privacy requests, complaints about something we got wrong. We aim to reply within two business days.
